Latte Dock is Back [originally posted to the Garuda linux forum by me]

Hey guys, just posting here to let everyone know that latte dock is back. While KDE panels have gotten way more capable since plasma 6, those who have always wanted a dock much like macOS has never quite had an alternative on KDE to the OG latte dock. I had been watching a developer who was planning to port this to plasma 6 for years now on KDEs Gitlab. Unfortunately they never completed the work. Fast forward to recently when another dev forked the entire project and finished the porting process to Plasma 6+ Wayland. So excited that one of my favorite linux programs is back! Just wanted to share. Credit to Lana Black (original dev) for starting this and Ruizhi Zhong (current fork maintainer) for bringing this back to life!

Please note: it does seem to be a little rough around the edges including difficulty reorganizing the dock and old layouts potentially causing performance hits and crashes. Hoping this gets fixed in the future.

Link the the port (had to modify due to being unable to post links here)

that’s a bad look, even if it works.
