LibreOffice no global menu and unusable

I’m on Manjaro Linux and have the libreoffice package installed from the distro repos. With Plasma 6 libreoffice doesn’t display anything with the global menu enabled. works for other programs just fine, but not LO. LO also does not display a menu bar within it’s own window, so it’s basically useless. It also uses the gtk file picker and dialogs.

These two things are perhaps related, is there an env variable that I need to check? something else?

There may be kf5 packages for Libreroffice for Arch/Manjaro, like there are for Debian/Ubuntu/Fedora. This iirc provides access to the Plasma file picker.

No idea about the global menu. I see years worth of reports of LO not playing nice with this at times. I don’t know if one can force a particular application to not use the Global Menu.

Installed fresh instead of still, and everything seems to work properly :+1:
