Libvirt packages missing

To use kvm, the libvirt package must be installed or available in discover.

The virt-manager flatpak does not automatically install a libvirt package as it is not needed in all use cases.

This is noted in the KDE Linux docs

OK, that works. But as a beginner, I have to say that Virtualbox is much, much easier to configure:
Network bridge: One click—done. In KVM???
Screen resolution: Install Guest Additions—done. KVM not found
Is there any information about KVM that is suitable for beginners?

What does this mean exactly? What specifically are you trying to do that would require the libvirt library to be installed systemwide on the OS image?

After starting the virtual machine manager, an error message appeared stating that the libvirt tools were missing.
In addition, various instructions use the tool to check the functionality of the KVM.
I had never used KVM before, which is why I may have asked some stupid questions. Sorry about that. Claydoh has since helped me.
Thank you.

You’re welcome.

To be 100% clear, when you wrote “KVM”, you were referring to “Kernel Virtual Machine” (a specific type of virtualization technology) and not “Keyboard Video Mouse” (a device to share input and output devices between computers), right?

Acronyms can be quite confusing!
