Lose custom icons after upgrade 24.05.2-1 to 24.12.3-1

I am running Garuda linux cinnamon DE

When upgrading from 24.05.2-1 to 24.12.3-1 my folder icons change to another style (trying attach screenshot for here what it looks like before
upgrade

good dolphin

After upgrade

bad dolphin
bad dolphin1387×864 230 KB

I have been searching couple months to no avail.

Also after the upgrade when select the icon to choose customize the icon list to choose from is different folder, I can do a browse to where the original icons were.
I am think a simple configuration somewhere ??? but where??

This sounds like it might be a Garuda/Arch-specific issue. While there’s no harm in asking for help on the KDE forum (hopefully, someone can offer some guidance), you might want to seek help here.

Thanks I came here first as it is only Dolphin having the issue.

I will reach out to theme also. I am guessing that it is an issue of where the config file points to look for icons,
