Description of the issue (screenshots if relevant):

It’s already quiet some time that i have important problems with LibreOffice Calc.
I made the update in June/July and things started not to work properly.

I focus on 2 issues

  1. when i copy and paste a list of numbers form a sheet to another of the same file, now it pastes it as an image and there is no way to paste it as numbers, one per cell.
But if i copy and paste a single cell, then it pasts it well.

  1. When i use conditional formatting it mixes 2 different formatting choices. For examples: from d14:d26 i want a conditional formatting and from j14:j26 i want another. In both cases i choose gradient.
    I save. i close. I open again and i find that i have a conditional formatting d14:d26;j14:j26.

useless to say that i was not like this before and that i use the same spreadsheet sin 2021 and eveything was working good before.

any tips?

Ps: after a discussion on Openmandriva forum we concluded that the problem comes from Kde. The clipboard doesn’t work well as before…

Copy & Paste issue within the same application sound more like an application issue.

In any case: your tags say “Wayland”, your system info says “X11”.

Which one is it?

I’m using the last update of OpenMandriva Rome.

it’s a rolling version.

here the link to the discussion, where we concluded that is a KDE problem

[i cannot include link. Look for forum of openmandriva and search for the thread with the same title]

I currently have LibreOffice 24.2.7.2 and KDE Plasma 6.5.4 on KDE Neon and copy&paste works nicely both inside the same Calc document as well as between two different documents.

Graphics Platform in my case is X11, which matches your system info.

I’ve not had any Copy&Paste issues for years, neither with LibreOffice nor any other application.

Makes we wonder if this is some sort of system setup or configuration issue.
