Missing "Suspend" option in Energy Saving settings (Arch Linux / Plasma 6)

Hi everyone,

I’m running the latest version of KDE Plasma on Arch Linux, and I keep the system regularly updated. For a few days now, I’ve noticed that my computer no longer enters sleep mode automatically; I find it still running even after leaving it idle for a long time.

In my System Settings, I had previously configured the “Energy Saving” section to suspend the session after 30 minutes of inactivity, and to shut down if the inactivity lasted longer.

However, looking at the “Energy Saving” settings now, I noticed that the option for what to do when the computer is idle seems to be missing or limited. As you can see from the screenshot (it’s in Italian), the only available options are “Do nothing” and “Shut down.”

It’s likely that a recent update changed something. Previously, the PC would go into standby automatically and then shut down after a certain period, exactly as I wanted. Now, this no longer happens.

The strange thing is that if I trigger the standby manually, it works perfectly, and the system resumes without any issues.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions on how to restore the automatic suspend option?
