Hello. Newbie here.
I am having an issue where Mix Clips quite suddenly stopped working for me.
I select mix clips, and get 2 errors: ‘2 items selected’ and ‘no active track’.
I ungroup the video and audio and it stops the 2 items selected error. I’ve never had this issue before though. I’ve been able to mix V1 and A1 at the same time just fine before.
It still doesn’t fix the ‘no active track’ issue. I definitely have a lot of frames for the mix clip. I trimmed off around the raw video and it still doesn’t work.
In fact, I deleted mix clips from an earlier part of the video and tried mixing clips again, and it gave the same error.
The differences in this editing session is I found the U key is a shortcut for mixing clips, but it does not work whether I press U or the button above the timeline. I also added a new folder of videos to the Project Bin. It appears to have started right after I added that folder, but removing that folder and videos makes no difference.
I tried updating KdenLive, uninstalling and reinstalling, did not fix it at all.
I made a new project and found mixing clips worked normally again. So something is up with that specific project I have. Any ideas on what’s going on and how to fix it? I don’t know if I accidentally activated a setting or what.
