Mnemonics for Kate/KWrite

Hello, I’m using Fedora 41 KDE Spin. I use Kate/KWrite as plaintext editor, which includes using tabs.

Is there a way to quickly close the tab by not saving change? Usually there’s mnemonic for YES NO CANCEL when closing a tab to quickly close the tab using keyboard instead of needing a mouse to click on certain button.

For Kate, there’s no mnemonic available for “Save” “Discard” and “Cancel”. Would be great if the developer can look into implementing mnemonic and using standard “Yes” “No” “Cancel” along with standard mnemonic associated with each option (e.g. enter “y” for “Yes”, “n” for “No”, etc.)

I’m surprised that there are no mnemonic available already as I use mnemonic shortcuts all the time on Windows. I have transitioned away from Windows and am using Fedora 100% of the time now.

Thanks,

Devin
