Monitors are not recognized upon resume from sleep

I have 3 monitors connected to my machine via a DisplayPort MST hub. Every time I power back up from suspend, the monitors are not enabled, until I power cycle them or the MST hub. When I power on the system from an off state, the monitors always work right away, it is only when resuming the session after sleep.
I have also tried this setup with a Windows installation, and have never had an issue, so I am fairly confident the issue is not on the hardware side. I have tried running some commands from KDE Connect to set the screens up with xrandr, in the hopes that it might wake things up, without success.

Is there some kind of log I can examine that might show an error recognizing the hardware when the system resumes, and then how it begins working after power cycling the displays?

I am running Kubuntu 23.04, Plasma 5.27.6, X11, Intel Graphics.

I’d try sifting through X11’s log file (/var/log/Xorg.*.log), the system journal (journalctl), and the kernel log (dmesg) for possible clues.
If the issue hasn’t been reported to the bug tracker, I suggest doing so if the logs confirm that it’s not a hardware or upstream issue.
