Tried on both experimental (25.03.70) and the latest stable version (24.08.3) with the same result. Using Windows 10 OS build 1904S.5011. I have tried using motion tracking on both mp4 and mkv files and on different projects. The result is the same on different tracker algorithms, with no keyframes generated every time.

I strongly suggest to open a bug report in the official bug tracker.
I was about to submit a bug report when I found this reply on a report similar to what I was experiencing. Turns out, old files from around 2021 were persisting between kdenlive updates, making the motion tracking fail every single time. Uninstalling and then reinstalling kdenlive fixes this issue.
