Moving the cursor diagonally iconifies the active windows - how to turn it off

I have 2 screens. Often when I move the cursor from one screen to the other, sometimes all of the windows become small and it’s difficult to find the one I want. Pressing ‘esc’ returns them to normal, however, resuming the cursor movement can cause it to happen again. I find this completely maddening. I want to turn it off but I don’t know what it’s called and I can’t find it in settings.

If I try to create this effect manually, I can’t do it, it just happens when least wanted.

Check your corner settings, in the Screen Edges section of System Settings. By default, one corner in there is set to “overview” which does exactly what you are seeing.

Thanks, I found Screen Edges easily, but it took a while to find the edge settings, 1 (top left) was on overview. Thank you very much.
