Hi there KDE people! I’ve been recently trying to get back into dailying linux after quite a while, but am having a weird issue
Basically, whenever i use a web browser on my external screen (context: there are two, laptop and external via HDMI), especially rendering a more demanding website, the entire system begins to heavily drop frames.
This issue has followed me through multiple distros and even laptops (one with discrete NVIDIA gpu and another with iGPU only)
Should i switch the browser window to the laptop screen, the lag is mysteriously gone
If anyone here knows how to solve this, please share your wisdom
TL;DR: When something heavy is rendered on external screen, system lags. Switch to laptop screen and it’s fine. Help pls
