New to Kubuntu. Came from Mint. Installed Kubuntu flavor to experiment with running local LLM’s with new setup, Ubuntu is recommended and I haven’t worked with KDE. I often get up and leave my desktop where I am at and around 4 hrs later I get a series of three full volume sounds every few minutes in the same cycle - sound, a pause ~30sec+, and then a couple of sounds with a short pause between, wash rinse repeat. This is enough to wake me up downstairs. This is the second time I’ve been awakened from it. Checked KSystemLog for logs around the time I woke up to the sounds. There were repeats. See things, don’t know if anything is significant or causing sound. Have checked the following and don’t see anything - more than likely due to cluelessness:
lsof /dev/snd/*
pipewire 3795 grandpoobah 57u CHR 116,1 0t0 590 /dev/snd/seq
pipewire 3795 grandpoobah 58u CHR 116,1 0t0 590 /dev/snd/seq

pactl list clients -long list, nothing sticks out
I am logging, but of course I am on the system, so haven’t captured event yet:
watch -n0.5 'pacmd list-sink-inputs | tee -a sound-inputs.log
