Neon Crashing and freezing, ready to give up

This issue is in the Mesa-dri-nouveau package.
In theory, you could replace that package only, but it must be built with the same gcc version used for the entire Mesa library.
For example, openSuse Leap 15.4 and 15.5 have been built with the same gcc versions. Leap 15.5 uses Mesa-22.x, so I can replace Mesa-dri-nouveau-22.x with Mesa-dri-nouveau-21.x from Leap 15.4.
This is not possible with Leap 15.6 (that uses Mesa-24.x) because it has been built with a different gcc version.

Comrades, a random thought.
Could the problem lie in switching from Wayland to Xorg?
When i installed KDE version 6, it used Wayland by default. As a result, it froze during bootup nearly half the time.
So i switched to Xorg. I forget exactly how, but it was one checked box on a single settings page.
After i did that, bootups occurred normally, but the crashes kept coming as described earlier.
Is there a chance i missed a settings choice somewhere?

Also, sleeping is iffy on Linux. So many things have to line up for sleeping to be flawless. I’d refrain from sleeping your computer, which will make things more stable for you.
