Neon Qt packages upgrade broke Qt5 apps

With the latest update Qt5 libraries were partially updated to 5.15.14. However, since some libraries are still on 5.15.13, this leads to Qt5 programs to crash immediately on start:

Cannot mix incompatible Qt library (5.15.13) with this library (5.15.14)

Same issue on Neon. As a side note, I got the opportunity to use Timeshift for the first time. It worked great. I rolled back to yesterday and everything is working again. Holding off the upgrade till I hear it is fixed.

Same issue on KDE Neon…

Same, apps like Haruna and VLC are crashing upon startup. Gonna timeshift back.

Having the same issue on Neon and don’t have Timeshift installed. What to do?

Are there Neon devs here? Did anyone create a ticket for them?

there is a ticket, but I cannot link it yet

ticket number 490700 on bugs kde org

happens also for appimages

Does anyone know whether there is there a qt5 metapackage that I can roll back and pin on the previous version until this is resolved – or do I have to address each indiv. package?

With the latest updates it is fixed!
Just run Discover and let it update all the latest packages

I’ve fully updated and the issue is fixed for me.
