New fractional scaling blurry since 6.3 update?

is it just me or is the new fractional scaling more blurry since the update to 6.3?

i think it got worse…

for example the mousecursor:

here is a screenshot when the cursor is on the titlebar of an app, e.g. firefox. as long as the cursor is on the titlebar it is rendered by kwin. you can see that it is blurry if you compare it to the second screenshot of the cursor which was taken when the cursor was placed within the app (in this case firefox), i.e. when it was not rendered by kwin.
