No buttons displayed on Kdenlive 24 for Raspberry Pi

Installed afresh Kdenlive Version 24.12.3 on my Raspberry Pi. Works fine BUT there are no buttons (e.g. Play/Stop/Fore/Back) displayed on the window - just grey rectangles everywhere.

(A newer version via Pi Apps is no solution because the CPU usage is too much (80%), my Version 24.12.3 needs 45% only.)

What can I do to display the buttons?

Could you provide a screenshot? that might be helpful.
Also if you can run it from terminal and see what errors it might be printing out

also what kind of video can you edit on a Pi, I’ve tried it before but I was never able to edit anything.
