No more icons after latest KDE Neon update

In case someone else gets surprised by today’s update in KDE Neon User edition. No more icons in the system tray and KDE menu and settings.

Already reported here: 487381 – There are no almost all icons.

The issue seems to be restricted to the Breeze light theme. A temporary workaround is to use the dark theme until this is resolved.

Running Breeze Dark here with Papirus Dark icons as Breeze icons look antiquated and poorly scaled, no icons on the login greeter screen for swap user, restart, shutdown, etc…

Using Amy Dark theme and Papirus Dark icons. Only the login screen is affected here.

Hi Community,
I have the same problem here, only standard icons on the login screen, in the panel and in the start menu. However, I use the plasma style “Breeze Dark”.

The error has already been reported under Bugreport 487374

I just updated again and it seems to be fixed now.

Bravo to Jonathan, not even had time to complain
