Pressing the “Pause/Resume Speaking” button, or using a shortcut for the option, does not allow me to resume after pausing text to speech. I followed the Arch Wiki article to set up text to speech using Piper with espeak-ng as the backend. Though I don’t expect that to be the issue as the text to speech seems to work fine. I’m on the most recent version of Okular that is packaged for pacman.
