Hi there. I’m using panel spacers to centre-align two widgets, but they move slightly to the right whenever the Global Menu becomes visible. Has anyone else experienced this?
The other two widgets that are set to auto-hide on inactive windows (Window Title and Window Buttons) don’t cause this issue on their own, so it seems like it’s only limited to the interaction between Global Menu and the panel spacers. For context, I’m running Plasma 6.3.5 on X11. I really can’t figure out how to go about it other than filing a bug report.

Meanwhile someone answer you, a little thing.
The devs (iirc) are focused in issues of the Wayland session. X11 wil be deprecated soon or later.
The tip I saw of devs (iirc in Nate’s blog) is “change asap to Wayland to detect errors because is the session where we are working, X11 will receive security patches but we are not focused in test this session”.

Yes, I’m aware of that, but frankly I’m too hesitant to switch at this point. I did try that last year when I was about to reconfigure my DE but it was buggy.
From 6.3 release of Plasma, changed a lot. Is fully functional in Wayland. I was in X11 until 6.3 (February), but with this release all changed to good and from now I am using Wayland session with this specs:
