Pasting non-ASCII UTF characters from Klipper's history pastes those characters' code points

Problem

Using plasma-workspace-6.3.2-1.fc41.x86_64, [1] selecting non-ASCII-compatible UTF-8 characters via klipper’s history GUI, as the undermentioned depicts:

…causes Klipper to paste those characters’ code points, in the stead of the actual character. As an example, becomes \u2630.

Query

Does anyone else experience this? If so, is this behaviour configurable? If not, is it expected? I ask because I have verified that I experience it across reboots.

I think you’re running into this one: 501130 – Selecting Clipboard history items with non-Latin characters, then pasting, sometimes results in escaped numeric references replacing the characters
