If the photos from Gimp cause the same problems, then you don’t need to upload any from Photoshop. Then the problem lies elsewhere. I have never had any problems with photos. Perhaps you can describe in more detail when or why they occur. Have you ever tried Kdenlive via flatpak or AppImage on Linux?

EXIF type is typically used in cameras, and possibly some recent apps, while older apps use the older JFIF.
Is there a correlation?
