I wanting so send some picture with KDE Connect from my Android Gallery, but noticed the location data is erased from EXIF data.
I selected the image in my gallery, ensured that “Inlcude location data” is enabled, and selected KDE Connect. The picture is send correctly and does include EXIF data, except the Location data.
I do have the problem between all my devices, Samsung Smartphone & Tablet (both Android 14 and One UI 6.1) and Kubuntu 24.04 Notebook. Sharing the pictures with Quick Share between my Android devices does include the location data.
Does someone else have the problem? Is there a privacy setting I am missing?
