Pinned app icon to task bar (Icons-Only Task Manager) gets duplicated on reboot

Using the package emacs-wayland on Arch with latest KDE Plasma, I would like to pin Emacs since its my main editor but after pinning the icon, on the next restart it makes a new icon and the pinned one seems like a stopped app.

As far as I can tell I have everything vanilla. Emacs is started with a symlink of the desktop file in ~/.config/autostart/ The desktop file is unmodified. I don’t have this problem with any other app and there is just one Emacs process running all the time. Any ideas?

[Desktop Entry]

Idk what I’ve done wrong the first time but now it works. When I hover the (successfully) pinned Emacs window it says Emacs (Client), even though the window name etc. is just Emacs. Guess it has to do with Emacs server and client system.

Pinning the Client window seems to have fixed it.
