Description
I read somewhere that Plasma 6.5.3 made some changes to ICC profile handling and upon updating to it, the ICC profile I was using lost all colour and looks desaturated even when srgb intensity is set to 100%. This was not an issue in prior versions of plasma. The ICC profile was one that I exported from windows in the .icm format. It’s called Web(sRGB).icm
My machine is an HP Spectre 14 (2024) and the icc profile is supposedly by a company called Portrait Displays. RTINGS mention that this “Web” profile is one with high accuracy for sRGB content and is the reason why I chose to use it. Surprisingly, the DCI-P3 profile, exported like before, works. Unfortunately it appears that I cannot upload these profiles here
