I have a multi monitor setup (3 x desktop monitors, and 1 TV connected via AV Reciever/HDMI Cable) and I thought that Bigscreen would be ideal for my TV downstairs.
I set up the display options to ONLY use the downstairs TV when logged into Bigscreen, and then when I logged into a normal session - I noticed that the same settings persisted. Do Bigscreen and Desktop use the same kwinoutputconfig?
Is there a solution to this? Should I just make a script that detects whether I’m in Bigscreen and use kscreen-doctor to change the output settings? (If so, how can I detect what session I’m in?)

Also, another option would be to just make a new user for TV gaming that uses it’s own configs, I guess!
So I ran watch -n 1 find ~/.config -type f -iname "*.json" -mmin -1 while I changed the settings in Bigscreen and yes, it seems to write the same config.
Making a kwinoutputconfig in .config/plasma-bigscreen doesn’t change anything.
So for now, I have a script that checks if PLASMA_PLATFORM == ‘mediacenter’, and if so, invokes kscreen-doctor to change my layout to the TV downstairs.
This appears to work fine, apart from that it crashed plasmashell with this dump:
