Were you inspired by an existing implementation? This is incredible.

@Merritt Amazing work, I tried it using flatpak, and everything works perfectly, “½ ¼ ⅙”. Looking forward to your future work on the project. Hopefully in near future we have Espanso like text expansion. Great job!

Nothing specific, I just knew that we had other features on the wishlist that would require the same sort of functionality — it was enough of an issue getting it to work that it made sense not to have to do it again!
