Plasma Login Manger: Numlock preference not applied

I am not sure if this bug is with Plasma Login Manager, KDE Neon Testing, or the Qt version.

Plasma Login Manager, when I use Apply Plasma Settings, Numlock preference is not applied using KDE NEON Testing, Plasma 6.6 beta., however on my other testing of Plasma 6.6 Beta on CachyOS, the Numlock setting is successfully applied.

Both distros are on the same hardware:
AMD FX-8370
Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 Ti

Both using Wayland
Both using Nvidia Driver: 580.126.09

KDE Neon Testing:
KDE Plasma Version: 6.5.90
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.23.0 (yes I know that hasn’t be released but that’s what indicated on About this System)
Qt Version: 6.10.1
Kernel Version: 6.14.0-37-generic

CachyOS:
KDE Plasma Version: 6.5.90
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.22.0
Qt Version: 6.11
Kernel Version: 6.18.5-1cachyos

Update: Since I still cannot get the numlock preference to apply, I finally submitted a bug report.

Look like a bug.
You should report it to bug tracker.

I plan to. I came here first to see if anyone else had a similar issue. I suspect not enough people are testing out the new login manager and beta.

I have the same issue on KDE Linux, but only on one of my PCs.

Interesting.
I’ve poked around a bit trying to find the config files where such a setting would be saved but haven’t discovered it yet. I also noticed some of the files, folders and also the location of them are not the same on these different distros.
For example /etc/plasmalogin.conf exists on KDE Neon, but not on CachyOS.

And there’s this on the github page: Plasma Login is configured by users through /etc/plasmalogin.conf, which overrides distro-provided defaults at /usr/lib/plasmalogin/defaults.conf, usr/lib/plasmalogin/defaults.conf I cannot find on either distro.
