I’m unable to get copy-paste within Plasma Mobile to work with some apps. Long-tapping on some input text successfully shows the copy/cut/paste contextual menu e.g. in firefox, telegram-desktop and in the test field provided by plasma-settings.
But it doesn’t work within e.g. spacebar, tokodon or nheko.
I’m doing the test copying an URL from the address bar in firefox:
pasting onto the plasma-settings test text field works
trying to paste into e.g. spacebar (long-tap on the text field) gets a small dot to be shown on top of the cursor, it seems like the contextual menu is created empty…
AFAICT the issue can be replicated both on Mobian and pmOS, but I’m still wondering if the issue lies on the shell side or it’s up to every single app to somehow support pasting into a text field…
