I opened a bug report a few days ago. The bug concerns the latest version of KDE neon only.

That’s another bug, that is fixed in next Plasma minor version.

What does “disconnect” mean? Every time plasmashell crashes?

Dear KDE developers and packagers,
it would be very helpful and nice from the Neon team if a bugfixed package for KDE Neon could be released that fixes the cause of the crashes. @meven wrote above that the bug (in Qt) will probably not be fixed until the end of September. That would be a hell of a long time to live with the bug

No more crashes for me on neon since the update yesterday. Seems to the be fixed.

The cause of the crashes of the plasma shell seems to have been eliminated with the update in Neon that has been available for a few days. I have had no more crashes of the plasma shell for several hours.
Many thanks to the KDE developers who fixed the bug.
