Potential KDE Plasma corruption to MacBook Pro

I have a Mid-2012 MacBook Pro which had Kubuntu 22.04 LTS. I shutdown the computer overnight, and the next morning the computer started having issues. I believe the system may have corrupted the internal components.

Yes, I have an discussion on the support forum with Apple.
Yes, I did everything and waiting for more information to try.

Hi and welcome. I am very sure you are at a better place for help here, as the issues are likely OS related and not hardware.

It might be hardware, this is likely the case if nothing else fits.

We need a lot of more info to help you.

  • what issues do you have? We cannot read minds :wink:
  • output of kinfo
  • did you do updates? See the last changes of a possible update with pkcon --history transaction list if you used Discover, or tac /var/log/dpkg.log if you use APT in the terminal. (does apt have a native tool to display update history??)
  • lspci output
