Power management baterry level does not fill up the bar

Sadly percentage does not go up.
However if I log out and log in again, solaar reports correct value while KDE status bar does not.

So I’ll keep solaar since that’s what works.
I marked your post with solaar as solution since that made it work.
Thanks again!

upower also reports incorrect percentage just like KDE app. but until I disconnect mouse and use wireless, then KDE bar shows correct value.

Strange circumstances, but solaar made things work.
I’ll try without it with only drivers loaded next time my mouse dischards.

You’re welcome!

Yeah it’s unfortunate having to rely on a third party program for this, but there is always people working on more device support in the kernel so hopefully one day it will be better.

If you have the chance try with a newer kernel or perhaps a different distribution that ships more up-to-date packages, maybe support will be better on those.

Also looking at your upower output it at least knows its charging and it even recognizes it as rechargeable, so it appears to be only a problem with the percentage and maybe that already got ironed out in newer kernel/bluez

I’m using latest kernel Debian provides, from backports.
However another distro is not an option, I’m Debian fan
