Presentation mode seems to have quit working after recent update

I tend to use the Display Configuration widget to temporarily override the power setting to turn off my monitors after 10 minutes of inactivity, by toggling “Presentation Mode”. At some point in the last month or so, this toggle seems to have quit working for me. Not sure if this is a bug in a recent update to Neon/Plasma, or something I did on my desktop that broke this somehow.
I am curious if anyone else has seen this behavior, or would be willing to help me troubleshoot to see if this is a bug or not, since I am a bit less familiar with the graphics / power management stacks, and diagnosing issues with them.

I should note that doing things like watching YouTube videos still seems to properly suppress my monitors from shutting off.
