Pressing and holdinng letters opens a letter menu in KDE Plasma 6.7

Usually, when I press and hold a letter on the keyboard, it types the letter numerous times. However, since I upgraded to KDE Plasma 6.7, it now opens a menu with different versions of the letter. No doubt this is a useful feature, but I would rather it the old way for now. How can I turn this menu off? Thanks.

Try disabling Plasma Keyboard in the Virtual Keyboard settings.

You can also disable this feature of the Plasma Keyboard specifically (as per @stlnb 's post here):

In Keyboard > On-screen Keyboard section, you have the “Alternate characters - Show popup when holding a key” toggle.

How the blazes did I overlook that, after looking at that very section?? :face_with_monocle: :eye: :nerd_face:
