Preventing Dropbox from creating an autostart entry

Dropbox has its own autostart mechanism, but KDE insists on adding it to the autostart, so the upshot is it starts twice which prompts you to relink your Dropbox account. Even when you do this, it won’t start again until you log out. Removing it from autostart works and Dropbox will autorun using its own way but after every 2-3 reboots/log-ins, it’s back in autostart and the fun and games begin again.

So, my question is, how do I blacklist it or prevent KDE from creating an autostart entry for it?

Have you tried editing the autostart link and breaking the link so it doesn’t find the program?
