Hi
Im certain i was able to see the progress of the task (eg copying a file with dolphin) in the taskbar; unless this was never a feature and im confusing it with this feature from windows.
Here’s a crude mockup of what im talking about.

Please let me know how to enable this feature back.
also please feel free to ask me about my system, versions or configs im using.
Thanks in advance
It does so for me, and has for a long time.
It may be affected by one’s Plasma Style/global theme, I imagine.
I don’t quickly see a place to enable/disable this feature.

Thanks for your reply. can you check if it appears if you untick this box so the progress bar is shown in its own window instead of the notification?
also please let me know if your “additional feedback” section of the notifications menu in settings looks like mine
Yup, it does (after changing the setting and restarting plasmashell):

Okay, thanks
Now i just gotta figure out why my progress bar disappeares when i untick this box
I am running:
KDE neon
KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.14.0
Qt Version: 6.9.0
Graphics Platform: Wayland
The second set of screenshots is using stock Breeze for everything, the first is using an old Plasma Style called Kadiya and/or the Plasma Customiser style, but otherwise stock breeze everywhere else.
I’d suggest creating a new user account and see what happens there, for comparison on a clean desktop setup.
