there is the control-panel of the usb-devices where i can connect and disconnect usb-devices and that displays all devices.
i installed an external usb-disk to my computer as additional drive that i installed in the fstab.this works well and the drives are mounted but they are displayed in the control-panel and i want to hide them to prevent that they are disconnected by mistake. is there a way or workaround to do so ?
sorry for my late response. here’s the picture. the picture shows several drives which are attached to the fstab and are working as they should. the main problem is that they are shown up in the usb-device list and it’s possible that a user can disconnect them by accident. i want to exclude them from the list that they are no longer visible in the usb-device list.
