"queued" transfers with KDE Connect

Apologies if this has been brought up before, but I feel like I’m losing my mind, and need to make sure I’m not going crazy.

I’ve used KDE Connect for around a year now. I like to browse my phone while at work, and if I see a thread or article I’d like to read on my desktop PC, I just share it to my PC via KDE in the Android quickshare settings.

If I’m at home, the tab just opens up automatically on Brave, but if I’m NOT home, then I would get a message saying “this link will be pushed next time you are connected to your device” (or something along those lines, I don’t remember the exact verbiage).

A few weeks ago I reinstalled Windows 10 Pro since I installed a new SSD, and reinstalled KDE connect as well. Now when I push a link while not connected to my home network, I don’t get that familiar “~next time you’re connected to your device” message. I’ll get home and see none of the links I pushed appear in my browser. I’ll test it then and there, and sure enough while connected to my network everything shares just fine.

How do I reenable that feature? I know I’m not imagining it, because I would get home from work, turn on my PC (wake from sleep, usually) and as soon as I open Brave, 5-10 tabs would automatically open up with the links I pushed while I was out and about. I relied on this a lot because my hobbies include writing and a lot of the stuff I would reference ends up saved in my brave bookmarks. I usually do this with twitter/x links so the fact I have them all saved lets me know I wasn’t just dreaming all this up.

Anyone know what setting(s) need to be tweaked? I went through all the plugin settings but don’t see anything relevant to what I need. Thanks!

bumping this thread, in one final hope that anyone has any sort of clue as to what is going on with my issue.

I can’t help you, but I edited the title and added the kdeconnect tag to make it more likely that someone with the right knowledge will notice this thread.

cannot reproduce this issue

when i try to “share” something from my phone with my desktop while it is asleep i get the “will send the next time that device is available” message and then when i log into my desktop the browser page appears there.

i would perhaps try to delete the connection between your mobile and your desktop and go thru the whole paring process from scratch.
