Ive been using Neon for a while now on this laptop but Ive not used this laptop in quite a while now. Yesterday I started it up and there were 1.6gb of updates and then the upgrade to the lastest os version. The update and upgrade both went fine but I did notice before and after the upgrade I am missing a LOT icons. For example, I can see the clock and date bottom right of the screen but all the other items are invisible. If I move my cursor over there I can find the volume control, desktops, battery and network but it takes a bit to find them. Also, the start button bottom left is invisible as are the two buttons to the left. I dont know what those are as they have no tool-tip when you hover, do nothing when clicked and just have what looks like a document image as the icon.
