Many people are annoyed of OSD position in the middle of the screen, and people had to switch to X11 to edit the qml files to reposition them.
I do not understand why this setting doesn’t exist in the settings app in the first place, or have easy way to edit a file in wayland… It’s very basic and nice feature to have for personalization of DE.
I’m personally not so annoyed with it that I’ll switch to X11, like its just a small thing… but really think that there should be an option to adjust it from settings directly. I know its part of root system, and it’ll be relatively hard to implement but it’s something that users see tens if not hundreds of times every single day, and it’s annoying to be in middle.
I’d personally put it just above the taskbar (Main Panel) area on bottom center like android system notification (all the panels are auto hide anyways)
