Hi there,
I am looking for a working download link or a re-upload of the macOS installer for KStars version 3.6.8.
I am currently running macOS Big Sur on an older Mac, and version 3.6.8 is the last release compatible with this OS version. Unfortunately, the installer for this specific build no longer seems available on the official download mirrors or archives.
Keeping older computers in service for as long as possible is a great way to reduce electronic waste and promote sustainable computing. Being able to run KStars on vintage hardware allows us to give a second life to functional machines while keeping astronomy accessible without forcing unnecessary upgrades.
If anyone has a copy of the DMG file for KStars 3.6.8 on macOS or if a maintainer could re-upload it to the archives, I would be immensely grateful.
Thanks a lot for your help and for keeping this wonderful project alive!
