Hello everyone,
I have a KDE Plasma 5 desktop, and my task is to restrict users’ access to changing the appearance of the desktop environment, removing widgets, panels, etc.
Through the file /etc/kf5/kdeglobals, there is indeed a quite flexible list of settings to disable certain parameters of the desktop environment. However, I came across one nuance regarding the ability to add application icons to the toolbar. Since the toolbar itself is a widget, the option
plasma/plasmashell/unlockedDesktop=false
prevents any changes to widgets, including pinning icons to the toolbar.
Is there a way to solve this problem?
