Is there a way to rearrange right click menu items in kate and write?
The top selection is “cut”.
Maybe my mice are too old, when I go to copy or paste, my code dissappears.
Constantly going to menu bar to “undo” and try again, and again…
If my finger is resting on the left click of the mouse, it’s pretty much guaranteed I will go backwards like the rest of the world.
Would much rather keep moving forward.

Plasma/KDE number one, except for the cut being first action on right click with lazy index finger.

Would be nice if it were the 3rd selection.

get a new mouse or trackball,

If the copy function was at the top of the menu, no harm done when you go to paste or cut. No need to stretch up there to hit “Undo”.

Been doing this for a long time also. To this day, when my code suddenly goes wonky in front of the eyes, a massive rush of fear. There is no need for this added stress. Don’t matter if there is a “Undo” button.

It’s like you have a thing with dd or something, enjoy watching your data/code dissappear in a flash.

By the way, I started with Sarge. Checked out Madrake, with KDE, I believe it was default back then also. And don’t see anything better out there than Plasma/KDE.
Currently stuck with the Devil’s buddies operating system.

No desktop environment or window manager, just feh, core utilities and maybe 6 GUI apps.

Mandrake was back then with KDE 3 a real good operating
system, since then I stuck with KDE, currently using RebornOs,
Garuda, EndeavourOs, and on 2 of the Computers Mint with Plasma 5

My opinion:
Since there’s a copy function, I’d prefer having the option to turn off the annoying useless suggestions.
