Rotoscope Effect not closing border on right click. I’m on Linux Mint Cinnamon. Rotoscoping was working on Kdenlive 25.12.1 Flatpak but not on version 25.12.2 Flatpak or 25.12.2 Appimage. Submitted bug on KDE bug report. Resorted to downgrading to 25.12.0 which works for the moment. Have any others had the same issue.
Hi @sinthesizer, and welcome to the forum and community.
Thanks for reporting this. I can confirm the problem. Can I ask you to open a bug report for this? Instructions are here. Thanks!
As a workaround use Enter to close the shape ![]()
Yes, I have already reported it. And its been Confirmed.
Tried to use Enter to close the shape, but all that does is open a popup menu that says “Play, Go To, etc.” and doesn’t close the shape, pressed escape and menu went away, tried again and menu popped up. Like the Enter command was connected to the Right click on the mouse. All was fine in version 25.12.1.
Must have been a regression but is fixed now.
The Enter key bringing up the context menu is very strange, though. I cannot reproduce that on Pop!_OS (which is also Ubuntu-based).
Can you share a screen recording?
When pressing Enter, doesn’t go past this menu popup.
