Hi,
I’m having issue with screen sharing. I have two monitors with different resolution :
- 3840x1200 (32:10)
- 1920x1200 (16:10)
When I share the second monitor with teams-for-linux (I don’t have any other application to test), the participants see the monitor with a 32:10 ratio. If I change the resolution on my wide screen to 1920x1200, the participants see my second monitor (the one I’m sharing) correctly. I also tried to share only one application, same issue : I have 32:10 ratio, even if the application is running on my wide screen.
I’m using debian 12. I tried to configure the testing repository to have the last version of packages, same issue.
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks

Hi,
Here is :
Operating System: Debian GNU/Linux 12
KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.107.0
Qt Version: 5.15.8
Kernel Version: 6.1.0-10-amd64 (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: Wayland
Processors: 4 × Intel® Core™ i3-7300 CPU @ 4.00GHz
Memory: 15.1 GiB of RAM
Graphics Processor: Mesa Intel® HD Graphics 630
Manufacturer: Shuttle Inc.
Product Name: XH170
System Version: V1.0
I found a workaround : If teams-for-linux is on the second monitor when I’m starting to share, the screen sharing is working as expected with the correct resolution.

Wayland is still a work in progress. It is not perfect yet, but they are making tremendous progress with it. You might find that it works better on X-11, but if you can do that workaround and it works well enough, that’s great.
At least I have a solution to make it work
Thanks for your quick answer
