I’d like to suggest to implement a battery status icon on sddm, just like the one on the lock-screen on the bottom right corner, I think that would be very uselful.

Exactly what I want. I was figuring it would require my trying dozens of SDDM themes until I accidentally find one that has a battery widget. There’s got to be a less tedious way.
It is supposed to show one, actually. I believe it is a bug in SDDM.

If you run the greeter in test mode from the desktop it does show for me.
