I have a database running with approx 20k pictures.
The physical file structure is
Digikam(root)
— Afrika
——trip 1
——trip 2
— Europa
—— trip 1
—— trip 2
etcpp see picture above.
I am trying to start with a substructure i.e. ‘Afrika’ to find all ‘Non tagged’ pictures.
If I use the ADVANCED SEARCH as explained in
it seems I cannot search only ‘Afrika’ by checking the box and selecting additional search criteria.
Only if I select every subfolder and all picture containing folders (i.e. sub-sub-structures) manually , the whole file structure placed in ‘Afrika’ will be considered.
I cannot believe, that there is a restriction like this and I hope this is more a lack of knowledge on my side.
Can someone please give a hint on how I can manage that?
