Select KBackup dirs other than in root

Using KBackup but can’t see how to back up “other locations”, that is not in Root or HOME. IT certainly lets me choose different locations/partitions to write the backup to, why cant I backup anything other than root…or am I missing something obvious here. Thanks!

Hi - what location are you looking to be able to backup?

The root directory / contains everything visible on your computer somewhere underneath it, including any drives in your computer, any externally connected drives, even things mounted from over a network.

So, if you can see and choose directories that are underneath root, then you could get to what you’re looking for - it might just be in a different subdirectory underneath root (ex. /media or /mnt are common places to find connected external disk drives).
