Using KBackup but can’t see how to back up “other locations”, that is not in Root or HOME. IT certainly lets me choose different locations/partitions to write the backup to, why cant I backup anything other than root…or am I missing something obvious here. Thanks!
Hi - what location are you looking to be able to backup?
The root directory /
contains everything visible on your computer somewhere underneath it, including any drives in your computer, any externally connected drives, even things mounted from over a network.
So, if you can see and choose directories that are underneath root, then you could get to what you’re looking for - it might just be in a different subdirectory underneath root (ex. /media
or /mnt
are common places to find connected external disk drives).
