Setting marker to rhythm of audio track

Kdenlive Version 24.12.3 @ Raspberry Pi:

I want to cut a videoclip to the beat of an audio track.

So I run the film and want to set marker to the beat hitting the “G” key. But always the disturbing dialog “Edit Marker” appears an so it doesnt work.

Is it possible to prevent/disable the dialog?

Or is there another method to cut to the beat?

(I often have audio tracks without drums, so I cannot see the beat on the audiotrack)

Yes, there is: Use * from the num pad. Or assign this function to any other key you like :wink:

Ah, thats nice!

I have to try the shortcut editor because my keyboard has no num pad.
