I’m currently using a faulty keyboard that occasionally enters a key twice when I only press the key once. I seem to remember there was a setting that helped mitigate this by only accepting one input if a key is pressed twice in quick succession, but I don’t seem to be able to find this any more.
Does this option exist or am I just misremembering?
in windows it was called repeat delay and it didn’t work all that well … i eventually gave up on my logitech keyboard with the G-romer switches because more and more keys started repeating.
now i have a razer huntsman v2 with optical switches and no such problems.
if you click on the background and start typing “repeat”, a search result will take you to the keyboard settings page.
Mine is also a Logitech keyboard so I guess it’s a common fault across their G-romer boards.
The keyboard settings page only lets you configure behaviour when holding a key down, whereas my issue is caused by the keyboard emitting two events as if I pressed the key twice in quick succession.
I guess the easiest solution is to just buy a new keyboard then
